  Botanical garden "Jevremovac"  
It was founded in 1874 at a Josif Pancic's suggestion and the Serbian Kingdom Ministry of Education decision, as the first botanical garden in Serbia. Originally it had been set on Dorcol, by the Danube banks, but after two floods it was moved to the present location, the estate King Milan Obrenovic inherited from his grandfather Jevrem. Almost three years upon its relocation, in 1892, the first greenhouse was built, which at the time was one of the largest and most beautiful in this part of Europe. In the times of Josif Pancic, the gardens grew domestic and exotic plants for Botany teaching purposes at the Great School. Today it is an outdoor laboratory, belonging to the Faculty of Biology, Botany Institute.
On about 5 ha area there are almost 1,000 domestic, European and exotic species of trees, bushes and plants, and as much inside the Greenhouse.
