09.11.2004 in the morning: 10 children (elementary school pupils) announce the beginning of the European Heritage Days in the center of the city. The action slogan: The Heritage and the Young.

09.13.2004 at 12.00. The Knjazevac Home Museum. Creative Workshops for the Children With Special Needs. The repetition of their school performance inspired by ecology and the environment protection. Children-Guides in the Knjazevac Home Museum.

09.16.2004 at 18.00 The Knjazevac Home Museum Gallery. Project Presentation: The Regulation of the Svrljiski Timok and the Trgoviski Timok Estuary Situated in the Very City of Knjazevac. Lecture on water, water courses and capacity in the Region, organized by the Knjazevac Municipality Assembly and the Knjazevac Touristic Organization.

09.17.2004 at 19.00 The Knjazevac Home Museum second wing. Exhibition opening: Old Knjazevac – A Life on Water, exhibition of photographs. An evening dedicated to former picnic sites near the river in the centre of the city. The guests of the evening: old Knjazevac citizens Mrs. Milica Ivanovic, Mr.Mata Jelenkovic, end others.

09.18.2004 at 13.00. A boat race through the city, by the Svrljiski Timok, along the river reach from the Knjazevac Home Museum up to the dam under the House of Culture, all in the center of the city.

09.18.2004 at 15.00 A part of the Svrljiski Timok bed cleaning action in the center of the city in cooperation with the Standard Public Services from Knjazevac, the Beli Timok Sport Fishing Organization, NGOs, schools and volunteers.

09.18.2004 at 20.00 TV Program on the Rgoste Spa near Knjazevac. Author and presenter : Ms. Ljiljana Pavlovic.

09.19.2004 at 08.00 An excursion by bus for citizens. Visit to the old mill and the school on the river bank in Balta Berilovac. Degustation of spring water on Stara Planina Mountain (organized by the Knjazevac Municipality Assembly and the Knjazevac Tourist Organization

09.19.2004 at 20.00 Memorial Park in the center of the city on the Svrljiski Timok bank. Eco Party: A Green Party for the Green City/Rivers, organized by the Knjazevac Home Museum and the Knjazevac Touristic Organization. Participants: the Knjazevac bends and surprising guests.

REMARK

From 09.13 to 09.17.2004 lectures in biology, geography, history, and ecology will be constantly delivered during the working hours of the Museum in cooperation with the elementary and secondary schools teachers and under the slogan: Europe – Common Heriatage. The lectures will stress the similarities and the differences of European nations.

All events related to the European Heritage Days will be covered by media. the RTK RADIO an EM RADIO will report every day on the actions and happenings within the European Heritage Days in Knjazevac.

If the weather will permit, the Games on Water will be organized for elementary school pupils, on the Banjica Swimming Pool, by the Knjazevac Physical Pedagogues Group.
