12.00 to 20.00h. - Preparation of Fish Dishes – Traditional and Modern Way
River fish preparation "on butter, covered", "fried on a plate", "fried in a pen", fish chowders, "kotlic"(fish cooked in a cattle above fire) , and other ways of preparing fish with spices found in the Stara Planina Mountain as ecologic food. Fish will be prepared by the scouts of the Trout Association which has over 2.000 members.
18.00 - Exhibition of paintings : Water and Springs of Pirot.- In the foot of the Pirot Fortress from Middle Ages (Town of Pirot), beside the Bistrica River.
Water has always been a popular subject for many professional and amateur painters of Pirot.
19.00- Archeological Centre, Town of Pirot, Expert Lecture: Sustainable Use of Water
- Lecturer: Dr. Dragana Milicic, Biologist, the Belgrade University Faculty for Biology
Lecture will be given to school youth of Pirot. Archeological Centre , Town of Pirot
20.00 – 24.00 - Traditional and Applied Music Evening Program
The program includes segments from the performances inspired by the Stara Planina Mountain and the Pirot Valley: "Oh my Dear Home, the Best in the World", "Pirot was a Town" ,"The Nisava Flows and Flows…", and other ethnomusicological performances which treat Pirot and its surroundings.
Organization: House of Culture with the Predrag Boskovic Pavle CA Society, The National Theatre, The National Library and The Ponisavlje Museum.

Saturday, 09.11.2004, from 10.00-17.00h - The Pirot Cultural Heritage
A free of charge visit to the Ponisavlje Museum permanent exhibitions, and guided tours to cultural heritage locations. It is not very well known that the city area of Pirot has 13 cultural heritage spots, while the whole territory of the Pirot Municipality has 14 more. In the two of them work the Pirot Museum staff, and the permanent exhibitions are placed there. In the Hristic family House, a valuable cultural monument, the "Old City of Pirot 19 Century House"ethnologic exhibition is organized; in the Town of Pirot (the Fortress) which represents a cultural monument of exceptional value, an archeological exhibition with the frescos from St Jovan Monastery near Poganovo copies, is organized.
